International Students

Overseas Students
Every year Elmwood recruits a number of students from overseas and International students can be found on many of our courses. Our Golf and Greenkeeping courses are especially popular internationally. Interviews for overseas students are often carried out by telephone. Students are then asked to send appropriate documentation to ensure they can meet the costs of studying in Scotland. Our Student Services Office can provide information on courses and fees. Once an overseas student has been officially accepted onto a course, notification of this is sent to Laura Hepburn, International Student Adviser. Laura is available via telephone or email to provide additional support for these students before arrival, she can be contacted for advice and help before students begin their course. Laura can help with organising transportation to the college residence or any other accommodation that has been arranged.

Shortly after arrival in Scotland, Laura will offer a complete induction programme specifically adapted for international students. Throughout their studies, Laura will regularly communicate with students to ensure that everything is going well and help sort out any problems in adjusting to a new country and culture.
