Elmwood has a well earned reputation for very high standards in learning and teaching.

Internationally, we are recognised as a Centre of Excellence in golf-related studies and, nationally, as specialists in land-based education.

In our own locality in North East Fife, the college has gained a reputation for its warm and friendly atmosphere and this, combined with its impressive rural location near the historic golfing and University town of St. Andrews, makes it an ideal place in which to study.

Elmwood offers a wide range of courses and we are continuously developing our portfolio and our learning and teaching approaches in order to be as relevant to the aspirations of individual learners as possible.

We are committed to creating opportunities for employment and career progression and our vocational courses are designed in close consultation with industry in order to ensure the most up-to-date and relevant training, the aim being to help you achieve rewarding employment in your future career choice or indeed to start up your own business.
