Plant Operator
The College is a registered training centre for NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) and CPCS (Construction Plant Certification Scheme).
Elmwood College is a test centre for the Construction Plant Competence Scheme, one of only two in Fife. The scheme operates as a standard setter for training and recognising the competency of plant operators. The CPCS works in conjunction with Employer Federations. Industry Clients and Major Contractors Groups (MCG) to operate construction sites that are both safe and free from health hazards.
