Quiz the Elmwood Expert at The Golf Show
Graeme McDowall, lecturer in Performance Golf at Elmwood College, is to join a panel of golf coaching experts at this years Golf Show.
The Golf Show is to be held at the Harrogate International Centre from October 26-28 and is open to all PGA professionals from across the continent. It is widely regarded to be Europe's most influential golf trade and educational event.
Delegates attending the show will have the opportunity to quiz both a panel of coaching and retail experts, on subjects including coaching to the best practice methods and hints and tips on educating golfers. The events will be held in the style of the famous BBC programme, Question Time.
The panels will be held immediately after the show in the Queen's Suite on the Tuesday and Wednesday, with the retail panel on the first day, followed by the coaching panel the following night.
Joining Graeme on the coaching panel is world renowned coach's Scott Cranfield, Neil Plimmer, a Golf Monthly Top 25 coach, National Team Coach David Brookes and Adrian Bishop, a Today's Golfer Elite Coach.
Graeme said, "I’m tremendously excited to be joining such highly regarded coaches on the panel and am delighted to be selected to participate by the show organisers. I’m sure together we will be able to provide delegates with the answers to their questions.”
Other experts from the golf retail world, including Eddie Reid, TGI Golf Managing Director, Paul Hedges, Foremost Golf CEO, Caroline Griffiths, Crown Golf Group Retail Manager and Nicky Lumb, PGA professional and owner of two golf superstores, will take part in the retail event.
Graeme is also currently working on the development of an Elite Golf Research Institute at Elmwood that will promote a research-based approach to the development of future world-class players. This has influenced the development of the High Performance Golf Programme (HPGP) at Elmwood College, students of which include a current British champion, former national champions and players with elite level international representation honours.
