Elmwood College lecturers, Paul Miller and Ian Butcher will be travelling to China this March to help deliver golf education in conjunction with the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA). They will be offering the BMI (Business Management Institute) Golf Management program in Spring City, Kunming. This four-day program will take place 3rd to 7th March, 2008 and promises to be an exceptional learning experience, focusing on a multitude of topics related to golf and the club industry. Paul and Ian will be working closely with PGA professional and Secretary/Treasurer of the CMAA, Michael Leemhuis, who has an outstanding track record for his teaching ability. Michael has been serving as the General Manager of the Congressional Country Club since 1999. Prior to this appointment, he managed the TPC at Avenel, Gary Player Country Club and Lost City Golf Club. He was also the assistant golf professional at Benvenue Country Club and Ayden Country Club, respectively. Elmwood College Director of Golf & International Affairs, Carol Borthwick, said, “This course is fantastic!
