Beijing Sports University and Willow Golf Club

Beijing Sports University and Willow Golf Club have been partners of Elmwood College since 2004. Willow golf Club is a practical training centre. They work both with Beijing Sports University and China Agricultural University for visits and practical training. Willow is also a base for short courses and seminars such as rules training. A programme with Beijing Sports University allows students to undertake two years at the University and two years at the golf club in a combination of practical work and studies to achieve their degree in Sport Management with Golf. A total of 7 staff from both partners have been trained at Elmwood College to date.

China Agricultural University, Beijing
China Agricultural University, Beijing, China Agricultural University (CAU) has been a partner of Elmwood College since the year 2000. They are approved to offer courses in Greenkeeping and Golf Course Management and currently offer the Professional Development Award in Golf Course Management. This is a part-time course for the golf course greenkeeping staff who have at least 2 years experience in the industry. A total of 7 staff from the University have been trained at Elmwood College to date.Their new Campus in Yantai, Shangdong Province is expected to offer courses in greenkeeping and golf course management in the future. Sanya Aviation and Tourism College
Sanya Aviation and Tourism College has been a partner of Elmwood College since 2005. They are owned by the Hainan Airline Group and are approved to offer courses in Golf Management and are currently offering a full time course in Golf Studies/ Golf Management. The Hainan Airline Group also own Kangle Garden Golf Resort, which is also their practical training centre. A total of 4 staff have been trained at Elmwood College to date.

Shanghai Jiaotong University

Shanghai, Jiaotong UniversityShanghai, Jiaotong University has been a partner of Elmwood College since 2006. 4 lecturers have been trained by Elmwood College, In the near future they will work closely with the China office to deliver the Professional Development Award in Golf Course Management on a part time basis for golf course personnel. They already have a Turf Degree programme in operation and the Scottish experience will add to their skills and knowledge in a more practical sense for the future. Shenzhen Tourism College

Shenzhen Tourism College Shenzhen Tourism College has been a partner of Elmwood College since 2002. They are approved to offer courses in Golf Management. They currently offer the Professional Development Award in Golf Management on a part time basis for current golf industry personnel. Previous experience of at least two years in the industry is required to enter this course. The College, which is part of Jinan University in Guangzhou, are now working very closely with the China Office to deliver more PDA course in Golf Management in the future. A total of 8 staff have been trained at Elmwood College to date.

Shenzhen University
Shenzhen University Shenzhen University has been a partner of Elmwood College since 2004. They are approved to offer courses in Greenkeeping and Golf Course Management. They are planning to offer the Professional Development Award in Golf Course Management on a part time basis for golf course personnel. An opportunity for 3rd year full-time students of the University to undertake this academic year at Elmwood College is currently in operation with one final year back in the Shenzhen University to complete the Golf Management Degree.
