The College’s farm and local estates play a key role in providing excellent teaching facilities for our gamekeeping students, who develop a range of practical skills including working with game birds, predator and pest control, stalking and working with gundogs. Students also spend 4 weeks on work experience.
As part of their studies students have the opportunity to visit lowland and highland estates to get an appreciation of the role of a gamekeeper.
As part of their studies students can undertake BASC and DMQ qualifications. Students can also undertake ATV, Meat Hygiene and Vermin Control qualifications as part of their studies.
