Who is the Course For?
The course is designed for people who wish to acquire the practical skills required to gain employment in the greenkeeping industry.

Entry Requirements
Applicants require a minimum of 4 Standard Grades at 3 or 4, one of which should be English. Applicants with a mature attitude seeking a change in career are welcome and will be assessed on an individual basis.

Applicants should also have a keen interest in the greenkeeping/golf/sports industry.

How will I Study?
The course is delivered over 28 weeks.

SCQF level for this course is level 5

NC Golf Studies

Who is the Course For?
The course is designed for people who wish to gain employment in the Golf Industry.

Entry Requirements
Applicants require a minimum of 4 Standard Grades at 3 or 4, one of which should be English. Applicants should have a keen interest in the game of Golf, preferably holding an official handicap of 15 or below. Applicants with a mature attitude seeking a change in career are welcome and will be assessed on an individual basis.

How will I Study?
The course is delivered over 3 twelve week blocks. The course includes membership of the Elmwood College Golf Club, including a season ticket at the college's 18-hole golf course.

SCQF level for this course is level 4/5

On successful completion you can move onto the HNC Golf Management, HNC Golf Course Management (1 year practical greenkeeping experience required) or the HNC Sports Coaching with Developmentand the HNC Golf Studies. Employment opportunities include assistant golf professional.
