Who is the Course For?
The course is designed for people who wish to learn the practical skills to allow them to work in the Interior Decoration industry.
Entry Requirements
Applicants require a minimum of 4 Standard Grades at 3 or 4, one of which should be English. Applicants with a mature attitude who are seeking a change in career are welcome and are assessed on an individual basis by interview.
How will I Study?
The course is delivered over 3 twelve-week blocks, six sessions per week.

NC Portfolio Preparation Art and Design
Who is this Course For?
The course is designed for people wishing to develop the basic skills that are required to work in an art and design environment. It also provides the opportunity to generate a portfolio for entry to higher-level courses.
Entry Requirements
Applicants require a minimum of 4 Standard Grades at 3 or 4, two of which should be Art and English. Applicants with a mature attitude are welcome and are assessed on an individual basis by interview. Some evidence of sound drawing skills are required.
How will I Study?
The course is delivered over 3 twelve-week blocks. The students develop work from specific briefs and create a portfolio that will be useful for career opportunities. The course allows the opportunity to participate in a foreign study trip and gallery visits.

HNC Art and Illustration: Visual Communication
Who is the Course For?
This course is for people who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in aspects of both fine art and design. It provides the opportunity to produce a broad-based portfolio for entry to degree level courses or employment.
Entry Requirements
HNC applicants should have 2 Highers at C or above, preferably Art and English or a National Certificate in a relevant subject. Applicants will be required to submit a portfolio of artwork. Applicants with a mature attitude who are seeking a change in career are welcome and will be assessed on an individual basis by interview.
How will I Study?
The course is delivered over 3 twelve-week blocks per year. A work placement is an integral part of both the HNC and HND courses. The course also allows the opportunity to participate in a foreign study trip.

The course is designed for people who have successfully completed an HNC Visual Communication in the field of Art and Illustration, and are keen to progress their qualification to the next level.

Successful completion of HNC Visual Communication in Art and Illustration.
How will I Study?
Over a period of 36 weeks, you will be required to attend classes and tutorials which will develop your skills in the field of Art & Illustration. Workshop-based projects are the foundation of this level of qualification.
