Who is the Course For?
The course is designed for people who wish to work in the animal care industry.

Entry Requirements
Applicants require a minimum of 4 Standard Grades at 3 or 4, one of which should be English. You should have a genuine interest in caring for animals. Applicants with a mature attitude seeking a change in career are welcome and will be assessed on an individual basis.

How will I Study?
The course is delivered over 3 twelve week blocks. Practical experience is gained in the small animal unit at the college farm and local animal care establishments. One weeks work experience is an integral part of the course.

HNC Animal Care

Who is the Course For?
The course is designed to provide people who wish to work in veterinary practice management or the veterinary pharmaceutical industry or elsewhere in the animal care industry.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should have 2 Highers at C or above preferably in science subjects or a National Certificate in a relevant subject. Applicants with a mature attitude with substantial practical experience but no formal qualifications are welcome and will be assessed on an individual basis.

How will I Study?
The course is delivered over 3 twelve week blocks.

Who is the Course For?
The course is designed for those wishing to enter management in an animal care related environment as a preparation for self-employment in this sector. It also provides a progression route into Higher Education.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should have successfully completed an HNC in an appropriate subject.

How will I Study?
The course is delivered over 3 twelve week blocks.
