NC Access to Degree Programme
Who is the Course For?
This course is run in conjunction with St Andrews and Dundee Universities, giving access to degree courses in Arts, Social Sciences and B.Ed.Primary, providing people with the entry qualifications for Higher Education and allowing them to make an informed choice regarding their educational careers. The college has well established links with the universities and applicants from Elmwood's Access course are looked upon favourably. It has child friendly hours to suit working parents.
Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications are required. Students are accepted following a successful formal assessment and interview.
How will I Study?
The course is delivered over 3 12- week blocks and includes modules in Learning Skills, Psychology, Sociology, Higher English, Philosophy, History and Maths.
SCQF level for this course is Level 6/7
Attendance 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time. Start date September.
